My kind of music

Blame It On The Boogie by The Jacksons was recorded in 1977 and was released a year later. In the lyrics he is singing about his girlfriend who’s always dancing and you can’t blame it on anything but the boogie. But the problem is that he isn’t getting enough love from her so the relationship isn’t really working. But when he begins to dance him self he is loving it, and ”his baby” can’t take her eyes off him.  

For me it brings forward happy feelings because of the speed in the song, I like to dance my self. And most of the songs he does has a bigger meaning behind them, but in the same time have this happy mood. It’s hard to explain how lucky I get listening to him, I grew up to this kind of music so it also brings forward a lot of memories.

The Island

The Island

4. In the movie the island are described like a paradise, it is the only thing left on earth and the only thing that’s keep the clones hope. But it doesn’t exist, it is something the leaders had to come up with when one of the costumers need something new to add to their bodies.

    And when Jordan is saying ”The Island is real. It’s us” I believe it’s how she felt, happy and like nothing could spoil it. Like it really is a paradise, but just in her mind. I don’t believe in hell or heaven myself, but I guess it felt like they finally found their heaven.  

3. I think it’s like a fight between the clones and the ”real” humans, and the producer has dissuaded to bring forward the harsh of what humans can or could do. They have to put it in a perspective to get the watchers feelings (I believe). But although they are kind of against the humans in the movie, they want to protect the clones. When they are driving from the hunters can Lincoln and Jordan kill them all, but when the hunters tries to do the same it is much more painful for the watchers, cause they are seeing it from the clones eyes. It kind of reminding me of the big question around abortion, how it’s wrong to take someones life although they aren’t aware of it, and how it would feel to us.     

Book Circle Part 4

The weeks story is an extract from a book named The curious of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon. 

Christopher has Asperger’s syndrome and it’s a bit hard for him to understand other people. He is fifteen years old and see thing pretty much black on white, ether he likes it or he don’t. 

He is outside on the street late on the night when he see a neighbours dog lying on the lawn without moving. Christopher can see that the dog is dead, a garden fork is stung right through the little animal. He walk in to the lawn and puts his hand to feel if the dog is still warm, and it is. When he take out the fork is he leaking blood. He thinks it’s much essayer to understand dogs then it is with human beings. They only have four moods and are  always honest. He has the dog in his arms, but then he hears a scream. Is the owner. Christopher really don’t like when people shout at him, and it wasn't going to to get better, in just a little wile the police arrived and starts to ask questions about what he knows. Everything gets to much and he try to shut out the world, presses his forehead in to the grass. When the policeman touch him, he hits back.

Gift- is a boy on seventeen years who live in a boarding school in Africa. He is their champion sprinter and the girls thinks he is the handsomest guy on the school. He look a little bit like a Zulu, slender and tall in his school uniform. They are five in his family, three little sisters and their mother. (They don’t talk about a father in the text). But in less than a year he going to marry this girl named Sunni, it has been decided a long time. Her family own an Indian shop in Gift home town. They like eachother very much, and are both Muslims.

Hunger is about a litle boy who live with his mother and brother. The litle boy is very hungry, but they haven’t anyting to eat. When their father left them a wile ago, the mother put a big responsibility on him. So now when they need food he have to go and buy it, he just got some money and a note. But when he came out on the streets a gang of boys knocked him down and stole all the money. He tried a cople of times, but then hes mother showed him how to fight. She gave him a stick and told him to get the food or never come back. 

He went out and attacked the gang and finally felt like a grown-up.

I have a few second cousins outside of Linköping. Their grandfather isn’t so happy after his wife past away a couple of years ago. Now he live with my second cousins but the most af the time he spend in his own room just lying on the bed or watching TV. 

Last time we were there I didn’t even notist him or knew he was in the house.  

We know where you live -part 2

She woks up with all her clothes next morning, still terrified for what should happened today. It felt like she never again want to goes to the school and meet Rachel, she just lay there. Maybe her mum let her stay home if she says her stomach hurts, but probably not.

In last minute she decides to go to school, it is nothing to do at home anyway. Now she needed to run the fastest she could to come in time. When she was on the top of the road and heard the school bell ring she realized that she was late. She  decided to wait for the first lesson to end, so that she didn't draw so much attention.      

She tried to walk quietly in to the classroom but some of the girls looked weird on her and whispered to each other. A bad feeling came to her but this didn't work out anymore. With determined look and large steps she walked over the classroom right to Rachel.

<<We need to talk. Now.>>
<<I have nothing to say, you are a lyre.>>

Everyone had stopped writing, sat totally quiet and listened. But after just some minute she followed me out.

<<Can you please help me, I'm begging you. I can't live if I get toes messages so often. Can you maybe ask some of the girls if they know or do anything. Pretty please!>>
<<Do you really think they should do something like that? No they wouldn't…>>
<<So then we can ask them, right? If it isn't a problem they won't be angry, I hope.>>
<<Okey fine, I'll ask. Wait here.>>

Rachel went in to the school-building again but in just a few minutes she and Amber came out. It turned out that Amber liked Simon too and just couldn't see him go to two other girls and not even look at her. She sad sorry and Rachel felt bad for Emma so they all became friends again.

Dear diary /Lockie

Dear diary,

you can’t imagine what happend today. We moved to Angelus, or you can also say, ”We moved to a swamp”. Because that’s exactly what we did. The house is falling apart any second. But dad haved to take this job, so we had no choice.

      It was the first day of school also and I met the world cutest girl, Vickie. But I lied about my name so it going to be very weird next time I will met her. I was so nervous so I couldn’t even say house or my name. But next time I will met her I will try much harder. 

      I needed to clean my head after school so I tried to surf, but that didn’t go very well, I just say that... 

      But now I have to sleep. Good night!

It rained really much on the morning. But in the afternoon the sun came out. The teachers gave the pupils an extra half an hour’s  free time in the dinner hour. The two friends were sitting on top of a wall in the school yard, waiting to go in. Martin noticed that the bell never rang and he wondered, what’s going on? He went into the building and saw that no one of the teacher was there. He called his two friends to go inside and look with him. They couldn’t  find anyone in the classrooms, so they took a look in the staff room. Neither did they find anyone there, so they went on to the head teacher's room. Still there was no one. But they saw something strange, the window was open. They checked the staff dining room, but all they found there was half-eaten meals on the plates. They decided to search for the teachers everywhere, DOM DOM DOM!!!!!

Ghost story

One upon a time, there was a family who lived in a seemingly deserted house which many people considered as haunted. Rumors had  passed from generation to generation about the strange house but nobody took it really seriously. The family had no idea that the house was cursed and one night the girl of the family was all alone in the completly quite and creepy house. She could hear the wind blowing violent outside as she went down to the cellar to bring a teddy bear, and then she heared a scream she turned around to look what it was, but she couldn't see anything, so she went to see were it was, and then she saw a man in front off her and he is holding a bag he started to go realy slowely, the girl was really afraid she didn't move, and the man came closer and closer he put her down in the bag and run away from the house. The police started to search but they never ever EVER found her, the girl was gone for ever.... or maby not!? Dom dom dom..!!
